Good News!

Good day to all of you!

I'm extra happy today, not because of the stock market moves or my dividend pile that keeps crowing. I'm happy because I did manage to get a new JOB!

If you are a new on to this blog, I wrote few months back about my job and that I got laid off because of the bad finance situation on the company where I was working.

Anyway I have my new contract signet and I will be starting in about 1.5 weeks from now. My unemployment only lasted 3 weeks so that's good! And I do earn few Euros/month more, which is always good. But the best part is, that this is actually pretty big international company that hired me. Some scale, my previous work place had 22 employees and my new work have around 45000 employees worldwide and it is a S&P 500 company. The best part is that big companies often offers a better change to get some sort of promotion than the smaller family businesses. So I will try my best and will see where that lead.

About my buys, one of my goals for this year is to invest 1050€ "new money" monthly. And that goal runs away everyday. I have not made any buys on 2015. I did deposit somewhat 700€ on Jan, and now it is all most end of May. And what comes to my money situation it is not so good that I would feel comfortable to make any big deposits yet. I maybe have to wait for my first payday, which is like some day in April. So I have a lot of catching up to do, I do have to go rely frugal for few months but I feel that I can do this.

So wish me good luck!
Cheers!

Dividend Income: January 2015

It is time to release my Dividend income for January 2015. I have not made any buys in this month, because of my work situation. I hope to nail some job soon so I can continue my purchases. So instead of buying shares I have saved money, I don't feel like I should buy anything before I get a new job. Just because I didn't have any "emergency fund" to get me though tough times. So no I have that one covered and any extra money I get from dividends or unemployment payments, I can use to buy more shares.

Here Is my Dividend Income for January.

- Realty Income Corp. (O) $8.44
- Nike Inc. (NKE) $5.32
- Laclede Group Inc (LG) $21.62

Total: $35.38

Quite a big increase from last years $4.56 but unfortunately American Realty Capital Properties Inc (ARCP) did not pay dividend this month, I hope they will continue to pay that dividend soon. At this point only thing I can do is wait them to get things sorted out.

I actually have two job interviews next week so wish me luck.
But we can see that progress is happening slowly but steadily, and that is gooood.

Thank you for reading!
Cheers.
