About
First i want to Thank you! for spending your time and reading something about me.
My name is Anssi, I’m 29 years old, And i live in small Nordic country and we call this place: Finland. I have been investing for around 7 years but that we can call training. And i have just started my run towards my financial freedom. This financial independence can be done by just a little time, planning, saving money, and using consideration. You do not need to make huge amounts of money through work, to achieve financial freedom, and my financial freedom is to choose between working or doing something else that i enjoy in life. The best part of this is anyone can do it.. yes even you. My plan is to achieve my financial freedom before the age of 39, that’s 10 years from now. This blog / website is going to be my journey towards this freedom.
I have always had money, perhaps this is because i was taught to save my money, by my father who had to work hard to but us to so called middle class as he was raised and born in poor family. So i learned at young age the value of money. I do not buy stuff for fun or just because of the current trend or because everyone’s have it, i like to walk my own path. And i’m trying to save money every time and everything i can. Little bit more about my family so i have Mom, Dad, and younger Sister, I’m currently living with my girlfriend and we have two dogs.
My biggest difficulty is going to be just not having that money on my bank account instead putting it to use, as i have always have had some money, enough to pay my bills with no trouble and having a nice vacation once in a while, and after 3 months of investing i’m feeling broke, trying to convince my self that this is the right way. When i go to store to buy groceries, and it feels that everything costs so much, the feeling is similar for me, like that frustrating feeling i had when i quit smoking. I just hope i can control that feeling by saying “hey that’s product i own” That always cheers me up.
I’m on the journey of a lifetime, and i have just begun my journey towards financial freedom.I’m trying to invest my money to earn dividends, enough so that i can live only by my dividend income. On my journey that has been inspired by other’s, like-minded investors around the world wide web, some of them started sooner and some later, others invest only for dividend stocks others like funds and other financial assets. But the goal is same for many of us, to achieve that point where we can make to choice to work or not to work.
My strategy is to invest dividend income stocks, those companies that can increase their dividend through many years from now on, and i will also invest in growth stocks when i think there is an opportunity greater than the possibility of loss. I’m not a big fan of numbers, of course i look the numbers and try to learn them as time goes on, but i only know the basics. I try to invest trough my own logic and reasoning, by asking simple questions to myself like:” What does this company do?” “How this business can evolve?” “Is this a good company?” “Is this an reasonable price to pay for this company’s share?” and so on. By asking simple questions like that will hopefully bring me that long lasting freedom. I’m trying to invest at least 1000 EUR (1350$) monthly, this is around 60% of my monthly net income. I will try to diversify my portfolio by investing to US and European companies and also through different currencies.
I’m trying write as often i have that precious extra time on my hand. You maybe noticed that English is not my strongest language so there is going to be some typos, so feel free to correct my sentences and other mistakes. I’m trying to improve my English on the way.
So feel free to commend and wish me luck! And Thank You for Stopping by!

Great start to your journey. I also only started at 29 and am very happy where I am four years later. The first couple of years saw small progress but afterwards the dividends really start to compound. You will do well my friend!
